THE CENACLE
ITS GENESIS
«The soul is dead when it has lost the memory of God experienced experientially. The health of the soul first and foremost requires a personal encounter with Christ Jesus, an experiential knowledge of His infinite love.»
The founding mother and the co-founding sister, Brigitte and Laurence, have experienced what they convey in their flesh through a painful and persistent metanoia, and the journey proposed here reveals a life experience and a secret Resurrection. The path they invite you to follow to deeply heal the soul's diseases to receive union with God is situated in the spiritual order, in the order of the grace of Jesus Christ.
ITS FOUNDATIONAL CONVICTIONS
The encouragement of the bishop allows us to see that this Cenacle meets a real need, and this is the first foundational conviction of this Cenacle:

The second foundational conviction of this Cenacle is that Jesus alone can make any man, even the most miserable among the miserable, a completely new man, a perfectly healthy human being who can say, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me” (Gal. 2:20).
This does not mean ignoring nature and natural means, but one who remains in the order of nature will never have more than the victory of one desire over another. In other words, they will always remain sick in some area, as perfect health requires a complete regeneration of our entire being, a new birth, the communication of a truly new life which is that of Jesus Christ in us.
ITS PURPOSE
A helpful hand for everyone to find a better inner balance and true spiritual freedom to lead a life that is humanly dignified, fully responsible, and fruitful in every way.
Better and suitable preparation for those tempted by discouragement and even despair due to successive failures and painful trials to regain a taste for life, to believe and hope in the almighty love of God, which is always offered to them.
A refresher for people with the most effective principles regarding the union of the soul with God by making them accessible and allowing them to experience it to regain spiritual health, maintain it, and improve it.
Nourishment with the Word of God and initiate the adoration of Christ-Offering for those willing and sufficiently prepared to experience a personal encounter with Christ Jesus, the ONLY Inner Master.
Aanchoring of the Holy Spirit in the Heart of each one, for it is He who achieves inner unity in us and makes us become a little Child of Our Father to build the ONE Church with and around the bishop.
ITS MEANS OF ACTION
Conscious and awakened participation in the Holy Mass and the adoration of the Trinity.
Personal spiritual retreat in Silence, in obedience to the rhythm of the garden with its two dimensions, external and internal.
The quarterly meeting of the Oblates around the Word of God.
The publication in various forms of the fruits of the Garden of the Hermits’ Pot: natural products of the earth or audio or written documents from the “Laure Abana – Our Father Collection.”

The Laure Abana? ? A little piece of paradise nestled among the Maronite sanctuaries between sky and Earth. A celestial garden, let us dare to say: a constant invitation to contemplate the Creator through His creation, to become simple and true, which is fulfilled in the work of the GARDEN in its two dimensions: external in the morning and internal in the afternoon.

The Laure Abana is open from the octave of Easter until the eve of Advent and all year round for the religious, oblates, consecrated persons, and anyone recommended by an Oblate or Oblate.
